At STEPSTONE Consulting we deliver learning and development interventions that are required, not just desired or generic. See past constraints to maximise potential through non-directive coaching
We challenge leaders to see past bias and find answers for themselves. As a coachee, we help you justify the fit and suitability of decisions before undue commitment of your time and resources. Our coaches work with you to explore strategic options and engage effectively with project stakeholders. We coach leaders on their leadership journey and provide a valuable sounding board for leaders implementing significant change.
Many operations managers are feeling the impact of flatter organisations and wider responsibilities, often into areas beyond their direct line of control. We often hear managers describe their situation as being caught in the middle between leadership and the front-line. On the other hand, front-line personnel often speak of not being listened to. We work with both groups to help bridge the gap through addressing the challenges of operations strategy, project delivery, change implementation and personal development.
Process facilitation that engages for impact
We facilitate events with managers and teams to address a range of challenges within operations. For example, our facilitators may work with project managers/teams to define project scope or help operations managers to align their unit plans with business strategy. We may facilitate front-line managers in addressing team performance issues or change agents in developing internal communications strategies. While our experience is broad, we draw on a wealth of facilitation expertise to design bespoke, impactful interventions for operations personnel.

From front-line supervisors to senior business-unit managers, we hear the same issues and challenges all too often. Resource constraints and imposed decisions lead to firefighting and forced choice. Perceived loss of control and a sense of panic can in turn generate stress and disengagement. Through non-directive coaching we help coachees apply situation analysis and decision-making tools to build confidence and enhance personal effectiveness.
