ANGELO MCNEIVE

Principal Consultant

ANGELO is a business psychologist, facilitator and co-founder of STEPSTONE Consulting. He has nearly twenty-five years consulting, organizational and leadership development experience with mid and senior level leaders in both the private and public sectors.

Angelo’s wide international experience includes engagements with blue-chip clients in the UK, Holland, Norway, Australia, Tanzania, Canada and the US. His sectoral experience includes government, professional services, natural resources, tourism, engineering services, financial services, and energy. He has worked extensively across the public sector in Ireland, including with a wide array of central government departments, local government, state agencies and commercial semi-states.

His focus areas include: leadership development, facilitation, team building, change management, strategy and project management.

Angelo holds an Honours Degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. He is a Registered Psychologist in Ireland and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development in the UK.

Angelo is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner and a Certified Everything DiSC Workplace® Facilitator.

PHIL KILDEA

Principal Consultant

Phil is a facilitator, executive coach and co-founder of STEPSTONE Consulting with over twenty-five years management, leadership and people development experience. During the last fifteen years in learning and development, Phil has delivered hundreds of programmes in Ireland and the UK for leading private and public sector organisations. Over the previous 11 years with the Bank of Ireland group he held various management roles in the retail business. His sectoral experience includes financial services, SMEs, professional services, government and retail. Phil has taught management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His focus areas include: leadership and management development, facilitation, coaching and strategy.

Phil holds an Honours Degree in Business, a Masters Degree in Business Administration, a Graduateship in Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Ireland, a National Diploma in Personnel Management and a Graduate Diploma in Executive Coaching. He is a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development (IITD) and the Marketing Institute of Ireland (MII). Phil is a Prosci Certified Change Management Pracitioner and a certified NLP Master Practitioner (Neuro Linguistic Programming), He is certified to administer EQi Bar on Emotional Intelligence.

ANNA ROWAN

Senior Associate

ANNA is a business coach and psychologist with over 15 years experience in designing and delivering learning and development programmes. Anna’s interest in workplace learning began during her 13 year career with Aer Lingus. Anna contributed to the successful introduction of an airline-wide induction programme and soon went on to become a lead facilitator on a number of six-week cabin crew training programmes. Since 2002, Anna has worked as an independent facilitator, trainer and executive coach. Anna has coached executives across the private, public and not for profit sectors, from middle to senior management. Anna is described by coachees as supportive, direct, clear, empowering and

challenging. Her approach to coaching is to listen to understand and provide the forum to fully explore the root cause of issues in order to get to the real solution. Her focus areas include leadership and management development, facilitation and coaching. Anna holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a MSc in Occupational Psychology, a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching. She is also MBTI and EQI 2.0 qualified. In addition, Anna holds certificates in Adult Training and Continuing Education, Advanced Facilitation Skills, and Business Management.

DAVID McCEERY

DAVID brings many years of practical project management knowledge, expertise and unique insights to enrich the formal learning of the class. David is an accredited PRINCE2™ trainer and has delivered courses to a number of corporate and public sector clients.  He is also trained and experienced in other project management methodologies and brings this broad experience to bear in interactive and lively training sessions. His project management experience has been built up over 30 years across a wide range of sectors including the public sector, finance, utilities and healthcare.  He has managed projects in the Ireland the UK and across EMEA and has wide experience in dealing particularly with business change projects.  High profile and highly time sensitive

projects have been a focus of David’s career and he is acutely aware of the need for project managers to be expert communicators with a high level of engagement with their stakeholders. David continues to be engaged in projects as both a coach and mentor to project managers and project sponsors. His practical and measured approach in difficult project situations has helped many project managers to work through key project bottlenecks. His focus areas include: project management training, coaching and facilitation. David holds a BSc in Computer Science and Experimental Physics. He is Project Management Institute PMP certified and a Prince2 Accredited Trainer.  He also holds a PMI-ACP Agile Qualification.

GAVIN BURKE

GARVIN is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with over 20 years experience in financial reporting and control, financial modelling and system development. He draws on extensive experience in the telecommunications, finance and IT sectors.  At Eircom, Garvin was responsible for the management and continuous development of the main system reporting tool for all Group revenues. He managed the development, implementation and operation of systems and processes across a range of reporting and

accounting systems. Garvin works with clients to evaluate, test and develop robust business models. He then supports clients in the development of accounting and reporting systems that offer deep insight into business performance. His focus areas include: strategy development, strategic marketing and business modelling. Garvin holds a BSc (Mgmt), an Advanced Diploma in Marketing Techniques and a Diploma in Business and Marketing
